Because you have the ability to think, you also are able to worry. Even faithful Christians can be plagued sometimes by occasional periods of discouragement and doubt. You trust in God’s promise of salvation and believe in God’s love and protection, yet the many details of everyday living can upset you with concern. Jesus understood your concerns when he gave these re-affirming words in Matthew Ch. 6:25-27 and 34. “Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value they? Which of you by worrying can add on cubit to his stature? Therefore don’t worry about out tomorrow, tomorrow will worry about its own things.” Where is the best place to take your worries? Take them to God, scripture says we can cast all of our care upon Him; he cares for us. This is Pastor Roy maybe you have worries about your future, relationships or finances; or simply a worrier by nature; if so make these verses a daily routine and remember you are more than a conqueror!
